Let Me Be Known

“Let me be known” - karro moss, october 2022

Let me be known by you

like the mountain remembers

his name—

in the thunder of storms

breaking against stone

in the rush of snowmelt

tracing valleys

to find every channel

converging into streams

blooming into meadows

adorned with wildflowers

electric with insect-hums

in the heat of summer.

Let me be known by you

like the wind remembers

his home—

in the harbor of sea-swept shores

finding refuge

in caverns and hidden places

resting for a moment

before the grasslands

beckon with whispers

inviting

a moment of stillness

before the

thunder comes.
